When you purchase your new hearing aids from us, fitting and individually tailored aftercare, including hearing reviews and hearing aid adjustments, cleaning, minor servicing, and maintenance, are all included for the lifespan of your hearing aids.
Plus, all of our hearing aids come with a 5 year warranty which covers any manufacturing or technical faults.
You can choose to have your aftercare appointments at one of our local hearing clinics in Pocklington, Driffield, and Howden, or in the comfort of your own home. We offer in person home visits or remote appointments via phone or by video call, with some hearing aids even offering the ability to be adjusted remotely.
When you purchase your new hearing aids from us, the price you pay includes hearing aid fitting appointments, where your audiologist will fully programme your hearing aids specifically for your needs.
By carrying out tests, your audiologist will ensure that your hearing aids are providing the right level of sound for your ears. They will also coach you through the correct use and on-going maintenance of your product.
In the weeks following your initial fitting, your audiologist will schedule regular follow-up appointments for any consequent adjustments to your device settings that may be needed, or to answer any questions you may have while you adapt to your new sound.
Our free, tailored aftercare, including hearing reviews and hearing aid adjustments, cleaning, minor servicing, and maintenance will then continue for the lifespan of your hearing aids.
To keep your hearing aids in good working order, we recommend regular servicing.
Our hearing aid servicing includes a thorough clean and check of your hearing aids. Your audiologist will also check your hearing and make sure that your hearing aids are working as well as they can for you, making any necessary adjustments to your device settings as your hearing changes.
Most repairs can be completed there and then, and are included at no extra cost. Occasionally, where a repair is more complex, we may need to send your hearing aid to the manufacturer for repair. We will always quote for any work required and obtain your agreement before proceeding.
Hearing aids have all sorts of extras that keep them operating in peak condition, including filters, tubing, domes, and dry aid kits. Your Hearing Consultants can order these for you.
